Surroundings

Balatonszárszó is an intimate town at the south side of Balaton. With its restaurants, discos and a large free beach, it is open for guests who want to be on holiday. Next to the beach there are tennis courts. In summer at the main street there are special events, folklore programmes, concerts for the visitors. At the downtown there are good grocery stores, a small hospital, a dentist and a pharmacy. The downtown is 2 minutes by car, 8 minutes on foot. In the surrounded towns, there are also all sort of programmes for the visitors.
